The Met Office has staff working as Ambassadors informing and engaging children and young people in climate and weather-related issues, the work of the organisation, and wider STEM issues and career paths. We were commissioned to work with Met Office staff to understand their knowledge and experience of Educational outreach, the effects of it on staff, pupils, the organisation and wider communities; and suggestions for future programme development.
We devised surveys for Ambassadors and line managers and conducted depth interviews with a range of staff.
